How to contribute

General Rules:

• the project is NC-17 but no pornography, nudity, and violation are permitted. We also reject underwear and swimsuit.

• it may contain of pictures/design/photo (your own fashion design) and reviews (tips, history, etc), print-patterns, cutting-pattern (something like DIY, or else..), etc. J-fashion, paris-style, gothic, futuristic, t-shirt design, fantasy, inspired from books or movies.. all are ok as long as connected to fashion. However, we are open for non-fashion review/articles/insight.

• the art/design/literature should be your own idea. We don’t like stealer and plagiarism. If any of you find out that our contributor steals other people’s work, please report to intiteam@yahoo.com with subject: Steal Art. Please refer to the original artist’s work to prove whether it is really stolen or not.

• everyone can subscribe but remember there’s NO payment.

• copyright of the work should be yours. Fanart might have no copyright since the character belongs to original creator but the fashion design/art of fanart still belongs to you. I personally only having copyright for the media (the title, concept) as I’m the owner of this project

IMPORTANT TO READ!

grafifashion is an online fashion magz that promote new artist, who wants to be serious in fashion industry and other art category.

• They are:
  - on the spot — this is where to locate the theme article/pages. Example: jul-sep’s theme is LEGEND. so whatever contributor had sent would be placed here.
  - creative mind of… — whatever fashion pages which not related to the theme will be stored here.
  - more to live — articles that out of fashion. Ex: music, film, book, philosophy, travel, architecture, etc
  - ring/link — place to advertise your artwork/bussiness (any kind of art and it’s FREE). And if you know any catchy/weird URL, tell here too.
• and the kind we’re looking for:
  - you write yourself about you and your artwork/bussiness
  - or if I really interesting on a specific subject, I’m the one who will interview you (^-^)

SUBMIT PICTURE:

• - when you review your own art (for example, you’re a photographer, submitting a pic of fashion), tell the story of the pic (what is all about), why you pick that theme/object, or even reveal how you make the photo.

• – you can submit article out of fashion, like a new music group, philosophy, painting, book, poetry, and others including poster/advertising of your business.

• - picture/photograph at least 2 with size at least 800 x 600 pixels. If your work is choosen to be cover picture/poster, it must be higher than 900 x 1000 pixels or 1000 x 900 pixels. The file format is ‘jpg’.

SUBMIT ARTICLE (with pictures):

• - article’s formatted as microsoft word, in rtf (max. 4 pages, 1.5 paragraph space, A4, Times New Roman/Arial/Verdana). Send via e-mail to intiteam@yahoo.com with subject: Contribute: (your article’s title). Note: the member of grafifashion-group at Flickr.com can directly submit their work via group.

• - if you don’t know how to write, but you want to be on the page, send me link of your work (or send the photograph/picture) and just let me know what kind of project it is (fashion/literature/photography/gra. design/etc). Then I will ‘lurking’ on your work. if I think it’s good, then I will interview you.

• - send via e-mail to intiteam@yahoo.com with subject: Contribute: (your article’s title). Note: the member of grafifashion-group at Flickr.com can directly submit their work via group.

THE NEXT STEP…

• we will proceed your work. There will be announcement whether we accept, reject, or pending (will put it on next issue). Wait at least a month before you conform about your work. Actually, I do my best to confirm you before a month.

How to be a staff

So far, this project is only need:

• English editor
• graphic designer (love to layout page)

How to Join The Forum

Just join! It’s open for everyone. There is 2 places (might more in the future..?):

• - at deviantart: in the name of fashion (older), grafifashion magz needs you! (new one)
• - at flickr: grafifashion
